Peter Klinge, Jr.

Peter’s C-level executive background includes divisional and worldwide roles to lead teams through various business growth stages. Strengths in marketing and general management with significant experience in business development, product and services marketing, and key account management growth.

Among his various business interests Peter holds board, advisory and interim CXO roles. At present he’s a director, CMO & board advisor with an international finance and trading company focused in developing and emerging markets.

He’s applied his experience to drive top line revenue growth for a series of owner/operator, early stage and mid- market companies, F1000 in commercial industrial products and services, wholesale distribution, marketing & business services, automotive aftermarket, online services, and residential real estate development.

His career experience includes co-founding a major worldwide digital marketing services firm that he led into profitable top line revenue growth in services for online and ecommerce campaign management for companies such as Intel, IBM, Nokia, and Volvo.

Ultimately his organization was successfully listed on NASDAQ as part of a global
company.

Extensive experience in global brand marketing and event campaign development in the advertising industry for consumer goods and technology brands. This included Procter & Gamble, Unilever’s Dove Brand, Pepsi Cola beverage brands, Compaq Presario, and IBM’s Laser Printer (now Lexmark).

Peter’s major marketing initiatives include leadership to expand Intel Inside ® worldwide and on the Web, launch the Compaq Presario consumer lifestyle brand, and capturing market share for Pepsi Cola’s Diet Pepsi Brand. For Pepsi he most notably drove the creative development/production of the

award-winning Super Bowl Diet Pepsi Campaign

“You Got the Right One Baby…UH HUH!” with Ray Charles.

Peter’s work on behalf of companies has earned numerous advertising and media industry awards for creativity and marketing effectiveness including Cannes Lions, Gold Effies, ICON Marketing Awards, and panel and profile stories in Adweek for leadership of a digital marketing services company. He’s also a guest lecturer, writer, and teacher.

Peter has lived in Latin America and Europe. He’s studied global leadership with the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and holds an MBA, Fordham University (NY), and a B.S. in Communications Management from the Ithaca College Park School of Communications (NY); appointed Rotary Exchange Scholar to Mexico.

Peter serves on the boards of the Association for Corporate Growth Utah, and The Leonardo of Utah (formerly, 4 years). He and his family continue their involvement in the Olympic movement since being volunteer members in the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
